Willis Ray Baldwin

Ray Baldwin departed this world on January 1, 2023 at 90 years old after a brief illness. He is now reunited with his loving parents Willis Newton Baldwin and Mamie Doris Barnes Baldwin who passed many years before him. He is survived by his daughter Terri Miller and her husband Jeff Miller of Prairie Grove, Arkansas (and their much loved furbaby Maia) and daughter Angela Baldwin of Jenks, Oklahoma. Surviving family members also includes Grandsons Spencer Mackenzie and wife Megan of Jenks, Oklahoma, Austin Mackenzie of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Mason Jarvis of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and four Great Granddaughters Annsley, Skylar, Alivia and Alice. He is also survived by his brother Richard Baldwin of Tulsa and Nieces Janet Baldwin and Sharon Bishop Baldwin both of Tulsa. Ray was born in Tulsa and attended Central High School and was a proud member of the "Nifty Class of Fifty" having graduated there in 1950. Much of his career as a salesman was spent working at auto parts dealerships in the Tulsa area and later in life he worked at Universal Joint Specialists in Oklahoma and Arkansas. Ray also worked for Triad Eye Institute where he was a Patient Transport specialist. Ray often enjoyed treasure hunting with metal detectors and was a member of the Tulsa Treasure Hunters Club for several years. He enjoyed traveling, attending flea markets, talking about cars, and keeping in close contact with friends. Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to Dr. Rider, Kyle, Liz, Josh, Alex, Chaplain Cathy, Chaplain Bob, and volunteers Wanda and Fred of Saint Francis Hospice; A wonderful team of professionals and volunteers. Your support and guidance through this hard time was invaluable. We also send our deep appreciation and great respect to Dr. Thomas Rashid who was the best Doctor! Thank you to Clarehouse for the beautiful end of life experience for our Dad. You made such a difference. We will forever remember the care received there and the beautiful cardinals and doves that watched him through the window as he made his way to Heaven. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Francis Hospice or Clarehouse in Tulsa in his name.
