Rose Marie Nash Rose Marie Nash, 54 of Tulsa, OK died peacefully at home on Sunday, October 23, 2016. Rose Marie (Pratt) Nash was born in Titusville, Fla to Emery and Lavonda (Bennett) Pratt on November 20, 1961. Rose was raised in Blackwell, OK and attended Blackwell Schools. Rose was an avid football fan her whole life, among her two favorite teams to watch were OU and The Dallas Cowboys. She was a long time member of the Blackwell First Church of the Nazarene. Rosé was also a long time member of PFLAG in Dallas, Oklahoma City and Tulsa She enjoyed volunteering with the Special Olympics for many years as well. Family was important to Rose and if you were her friend you were also family. Known as Momma Rose as most all of her children's friends referred to her, she touched many lives over the years, she never judged anyone and always believed in helping when and where she could. Rose enjoyed talking about her family and friends and told alot of stories from her childhood memories. She enjoyed traveling with her Aunt Nellie and Uncle AC and visiting Florida with her parents every summer. She enjoyed getting spending time with her sister Sandra and was fortunate enough to have a few cousins that were more like siblings Anna, Glen and Verlin whom she looked up to, thought the world of and made lifetime memories with. Rosee loved to travel and spend time with her kids, especially her Grandson Chandler, and For Many years, she was quite a Gypsy and Rambling Rose seeing parts of the country and exploring all that she could. She spent the last ten years of her life with her Son Larry, Son In Law Justin, Grandson Chandler and daughter Desiree. She lived in Dallas and Austin prior to making Tulsa her home. She will be missed by all who knew her. Rose is survived by a son, Larry and husband, Justin Harris of Tulsa, Oklahoma two Daughters Desirée Honeycutt of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Anna and husband Bobby Kelly of Blackwell, Oklahoma and one Grandson Chandler Harris of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Cousins who she thought of as siblings, Anna and Glen Beard and Verlin Pratt of Blackwell, Oklahoma, her fur baby Pumpkin of the home and many friends and family that she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Emery and Lavonda Pratt, sister Sandra Pratt, and daughter Lavonda Nash. Rose requested a private Cremation and Memorial Service that will be announced at a later date. The family of Rose Nash would like to thank all those who cared for our Mom during her long time illness.
