Luevell (Latham) Carter

November 27, 1939 - February 11, 2022

On November 27, 1939 a beautiful baby girl was born to the union of Johnnie and Alice Latham. Luevell Latham Carter attended Trey Wilson School in Arkansas. She met and Married Robert E. Catholic. Luevell was a stay at home mom. She loved cooking, drinking grape soda, syrup, playing bingo, and listening to gospel music. She sold dinners from her home. She moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she met and married Leroy Carter. She attended Love Tabernacle C.O.G.I.C. until the Lord called her home. She is preceded in death by her husband Leroy Carter; Sons Larry Latham, Robert Earl, and William Earl; Siblings Jonnie Metcalf, Clara Latham, Linda Latham, Johnny Latham, and Orvell Latham. She leaves to mourn; Son in-law Jeff Fannin of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Daughters Sonya Fannin and Lahoma Catholic both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Sons Bobby Catholic of Lincoln, Nebraska and Kenneth Catholic of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Sisters Doris Barnes, Joyce Latham, Alice Atkins, Paulette Latham, and Mae Sue Latham all of Wichita, Kansas; 11 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. She loved to praise the Lord in church and thanking God for another day. She also loved to read Psalm 23.
