Joel "Joeski" Ochoa was born to Lino Ochoa and Alicia Lucero on August 15, 1973 in Chihuahua, Mexico. Joeski enjoyed life and making the best out of it. He endured many obstacles that could've pulled him down but he fought to live. At the age of 16, he was hit by a drunk driver that paralyzed him. He could've given up on life but he fought to live. Joeski had a stroke that caused him to lose his eye. Again, he could've given up but he fought to live. Joeski endured dialysis for over 10 years. Once again, he could've given up but he fought to live. Despite losing count of all his many surgeries, he NEVER gave up. Joeski was loved by everyone who knew him, especially his family, whom he loved dearly. He had a big heart for everyone. He brightened every room he entered. His charming personality brought joy to everyone he came in contact with. Joeski was preceded in death by his father, Lino Ochoa. He is survived by his sons, Joel Edward Ochoa Jr., Jovanny, Alex, Christian, and Xavier; mother, Alicia Esquivel; siblings, Rita Ochoa, Lorenzo Ochoa, Margarita Ochoa, Lino Ochoa Jr., David Ochoa, Victor Ochoa, Esther Camacho, Tavita Ochoa, Elizabeth Aldana, and Alva Ochoa. Visitation for Joeski will be 12pm-7pm, Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Serenity Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral Service will be 10am, Friday, May 6, 2022 at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel.
