James Eugene Walton Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

James Eugene Walton, age 69 passed this life on March 8, 2021 in his home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was born on July 27, 1951 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to his parents Ray Walton and Jimmie Walton. James served his country in the United States Army. He graduated from East Central University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. James worked faithfully for 32 years prior to retirement from Reliable Insurance Company. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gardening, and boating. James also loved listening to music and just spending quality time with his friends and family. He was a light in many lives and will be greatly missed by many. He is preceded in death by his parents Ray Walton and Jimmie Walton and his brother Michael Ray Walton. James is survived by his wife of 50 years Marlyn Walton of the home; daughters Jamie Daniels and her husband Jason of Winganon, Oklahoma, Luci Curry and her husband Brandon Curry of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; grandchildren Michael James Daniels, Marilyn Daniels, Kaylee Curry and August Curry; great-grandchildren Ethan Daniels and River Daniels; siblings Jeanne Camp and Merrie Whitt; along with his two dogs Princess and Buttons who both brought him so much joy. A memorial service will be held in James honor on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Serenity Funerals and Crematory Chapel in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
