Timothy Eugene Wallace

On August 8, 1953, a son was born to Ambrosia and Oretha (Wilburn)Wallace in Tallahassee, Oklahoma. They named him Timothy Eugene, who was nicknamed Tim. Tim was born with some health issues, and they were uncertain if he would survive. But he was a fighter and survived just like the last eight months. Tim was intelligent and could do almost anything he put his mind to. He was constantly in trouble because of his curiosity. If it was a clock, radio, or anything electronic, he loved to take it apart and he could put it back together after being threatened by his mother. He was educated in the Tulsa Public School System and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School Class of 1972. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, and then he enlisted in the United States Army. He received Honorable discharges from both branches. After his military duties, he met and married his first wife, Sheila Hartman. They had four children and divorced after 17 years. Tim transitioned into eternal rest on Thursday July 6, 2023. The word of God says to be 'absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.' His father and mother, Ambrosia and Oretha Wallace, preceded him in death, along with sisters Uearlene Norma Jean Howard and Girlie Dean Gilmore and brother Cecil (BoBo) Earl Wallace. Left to cherish his memories is his wife of 19 years DeEdra Wallace. His sons Rico Earl, Jeremiah (Lisa), Trevor Wallace and daughter Brie Wallace will also cherish his memories. Bonus sons Phillip, Floyd Vann III, and Standford Morgan will also cherish fond memories. Grandchildren Tye Wallace, Alexis (Mahar) Hayes, Miah Wallace, Donnell Fowler, Cynthia Eddy, Donte Fowler, and great grandson Torah Hayes will cherish his memories. His siblings, Christopher Wallace, Cynthia Brown, Kay Wallace, Orletha (Calvin Sr) Blades, Sharon Chambliss of Houston, Texas, Sharlene Ashford, and Linda Strickland will all fondly remember their brother and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Tim we are grateful that we got to know you, and you made the world a better and happier place because you loved us. Visitation was held 3pm to 8pm Wednesday July 19, 2023 and Funeral Service is scheduled for 1pm Thursday, February 20, 2023 both at Serenity Funerals and Cremation Chapel. Committal Service will be 1:30pm Friday July 21, 2023 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma with Military Honors provided by the United States Marine Corps.
