Patti Sue Duncil

Patti Sue Duncil, age 77, passed this life on January 20, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on September 20 , 1945 in Hazard, Kentucky to her parents Pearson Leonard Duncil and Laura Jones. On September 20, 1945 Patti also met her life long friend and twin sister Brenda Duncil. Patti and Brenda were truly amazing individuals and balanced each other perfectly. Patti was known as the happy go lucky sister, as opposed to Brenda who was outspoken. Patti loved Elvis and was intrigued by all of his work. Among many things, some of Patti's interests and hobbies included her love for cats, sewing, quilting, crafting necklaces, curating floral arrangements, watching action movies, cooking and spending time with her nieces and nephews. During most of Patti's working life she had her career as a housekeeper at St Francis Hospital. Among getting to know the hospital like the back of her hand, Patti also soon learned that she was able to succeed in any position she was placed in. Patti loved cooking and enjoyed being able to break open her cookbooks and make a feast. She loved having Sunday dinners with her family. Patti and Brenda would put so much into their cooking that they were also the firsts at the dining table. Patti also loved canning, shucking beans, and making jams. Patti was passionate about nature and site seeing. Patti was able to make life long and meaningful memories with some of her family members through her travel. She was able to see many places including New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and the Grand Canyon. During her time traveling Patti would go cactus picking and would bring them back home with her, where she would replant them. She had many cactus's at her residence that came from her cactus picking. She is preceded in death by her father Pearson Leonard Duncil and mother Laura Jones, twin sister Brenda Duncil, brothers Leonard and Bobby Duncil, and nephew Dewayne Akers. Patti is survived by her siblings Dianne Akers, Patricia Ann Berry, Annette Vasquez, and Dewey Duncil, nieces and nephews Angela Ferguson, Andrea Akers, Bobby Duncil Jr., David Duncil, Darren Duncil, along with many other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
