Michael John McMahon

Michael McMahon "Mustang Mike", "Fordman Mike", or "M and M" passed away peacefully with his wife holding him in his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by family on June 17, 2018 at the age of 60. Mike is survived by his parents, Emily and John Roberts of Ketchum, Oklahoma and David and Carolynn Mcmahon of Glendale, Arizona; his wife Annette McMahon of Tulsa, Oklahoma; children, David and Marisol Chavez, and Barbara Chavez; grandchildren, Mercedes Chavez, Elizabeth Chavez, Kasey Chavez-Castillo, Lexi Hicks, Chloe Woodstock, Damon Chaffin, and Austin Chaffin. Annette and Mike raised Kasey as one of their own and Kasey gave them a beautiful great granddaughter, Airiana and along with Kasey's husband, Brett. Siblings, David Scott Mcmahon of Phoenix, Arizona, Laure Anne Renna of Fresno, Arizona, and Brandy Singer Kingman of Arizona. His nieces and nephews; crystal Amett, Phillip French and Alisha French. Mike is preceded in death by his daughter Maria Chavez of Chickasha, Oklahoma, his brother Patrick McMahon of Phoenix, Arizona, his sister Candy French of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, his niece, Tondra French and his beloved grandma and grandpa, Lauretta and Frank McMahon of Phoenix, Arizona. Mike was born on April, 28, 1958 in Phoenix, Arizona to Emily and David. He married Annette, September 2, 1992 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His working career included him traveling state to state working for the railroad. He next worked as a heating and air service man, then as a welder and all along worked as a mechanic too. Mike considered Annette's children as his own and lovingly welcomed them into his life. Mike was a jack of all trades. He had a true love for drumming and had a green thumb. He was truly a family man and loved his family with all his heart. He loved to the fullest and everyone loved him. He laughed a lot, smiled a lot, and had an incredible sense of humor. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, fishing and camping. He treated his friendships like family. He built his own mustang and raced it down the quarter mile strip at Tulsa Raceway. The family of Michael McMahon are working on planning a Celebration of Life Service. Annette would like to acknowledge the incredible man that Mike was and the loved and Kindness that he showed to all that met him. He was so loved and his love will carry on for eternity.
