Mary Belle Casey

On March 2, 2021, our world shattered when the best mom, nanny, and friend, Mary Belle Casey passed from this world to her new home in Heaven surrounded by her family at home in Bartlesville. Mary was born to Odell Turley and Mary Powell on May 29, 1946 in Henryetta, OK. Mary became a cosmetologist and spent many years helping people achieve their best look. She retired, went back to work, and finally retired permanently a few years ago. She then watched some of her great-grandchildren who were the reason she looked forward to every day. She was not a person who could sit around and do nothing - she had to stay busy. She was a wonderful, giving person who would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. Mary loved to crochet and sew and spend time with her family and friends. Mary is survived by her sister Patricia Shaffer of Henryetta, brothers Ronnie Evans and Donnie Evans of Okmulgee, sister Darla Hobbs of Garland TX, brother Brian Turley of Garland, TX, sister Paula Anderson of Kingwood, TX, sister Tracy Stewart of Arcadia, FL, sister-in-law Gladys Evans of Okmulgee, sister-in-law Stephanie Turley of Garland, TX, brother-in-law Lonnie Stewart of Arcadia FL, two daughters, Angela Black and Teresa Grubb of Bartlesville, two sons, Paul Allen Casey of Bartlesville and Darrell Casey of Oklahoma City, son-in-law Roy Black of Bartlesville, daughter-in-love Judy Hix of Bartlesville, and daughter-in-law Cindy Casey of Oklahoma City, grandchildren: Summer Perriman, Dustin Gordon, Samantha Gordon, Jacob Grubb, Casey Black, Kristopher Black, Elizabeth Widener, Cameron Black, Victoria Black, Darrell Keith Casey, Kyle Casey, and Scout Wade, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who are missing her so much it hurts. She was welcomed into Heaven by her late husband, Paul Franklin Casey, both of her parents, two brothers Roger Turley and Tommy Evans, two sisters Kathy Notley, and Lisa Ogden, and her daughter Tammy Gordon. It was a joyful day in heaven but a very sad day for her family and friends. Mary was cremated by Serenity Funeral Home and a graveside service will be held at New Sonora Cemetery in Henryetta at a later date.
