Mamie Nell Allen, age 76, a spiritual lady of God, Baptist, born February 8, 1945 In Kemper County, Mississippi. One of 8 siblings. Resided in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her daughter Nancy. Survived by her closest loved ones , daughter Nancy Ann Lang - Smith age 58, her Granddaughter Tricia Jean Lang - Romo, her 4 Great Grandchildren, Jaden, Zoe, Hadley and Greyson, her Son in Law, Navy Lt. Commander Seth Romo. And her golden lab Lexi. She had a sparkle in her eyes for all things gardening and green plants. Both being her hearts Joy, along with her beautiful Artistic talents. Much beloved by family and friends. Sunday school teacher in OKC, She helped many people along her life path and never asked for more than a smile. Self taught entrepreneur, Mamie built her own Green Plant Leasing Business in OKC in the 80's, and survived more trials and tribulations than one person should. She never gave up hope for what she could achieve, even with her disability. Full of determination, even as an early stroke, coma, and aneurysm to the brain victim at age 21, her life gave many great years of love, and happiness among all those she met. Never taking NO as an answer that she couldn't do all she wanted, Mamie was a strong willed personality. There will never be a more stubborn, yet delightful creature of God, than My beautiful spirited Mom. Mamie, affectionately known as " MiMi " to her Great Grandchildren. Mom, We will all miss the TWINKLE in your bright green eyes, your beautiful smile and dimples..your green plant advice, your recipes, the gorgeous hand created cards for special birthdays and holidays kept as treasures now, and all those precious MOM moments of time we can never get back, but know God will shine on us again one day in his presence as a complete family to enjoy.
