Dianna Marie Ness

April 27, 1948 - December 13, 2012 Biography Dianna Marie Ness brought great joy into the world on April 27th, 1948. She was born in Parsons, Kansas at Mercy hospital and was an inspiration and example of faith to all who came into contact with her. Dianna was the first of eight siblings born to Don and Teresa Hill. Dianna passed from this earth to heaven on Thursday, December 13th, 2012. Dianna graduated High School from Altamont, KS and attended barber college in Tulsa, OK. Dianna was raised in Kansas and graduated from Altamont High School. After graduating she worked for Hallmark Cards before moving to Miami, OK. There she decided to attend barber school in Tulsa, OK where she graduated and continued her amazing hairstylist career in Miami and Tulsa for 35 years! Over the years Dianna continued to reinvent herself in the beauty industry by becoming a licensed nail tech and permanent make-up artist. She absolutely loved what she did and was great doing it! She loved making people feel and look their best. Her loyal clientele extended far and wide because of the commitment she had and the perfection she put into her work. Throughout her life she was married to Jimmy Grant, Ronnie Randolph and John Ness. She had two children and three grandchildren that she loved with all her heart. She dedicated her life to the Lord 37 years ago at the Nazarene Church in Miami, OK and continues her walk with Christ eternally. She not only shared the love of Christ in her barber chair but was a singer in the gospel group the Evangel-Lites. They traveled around the 4 states performing at different churches and events. Dianna had an amazing voice and is now singing lead in a glorious chore of angels in heaven. A strong and independent woman she always supported and bettered herself in life. People she knew were just better for knowing her. She had that special quality where she would light up a room and people gravitated to her because of the positive spirit she exuded. She was an encouragement for others, gave them advice to help seek different alternatives and made them realize their true value. I guess you would say she made people better on the inside and outside! As a mother she had an unconditional love for her children. She was supportive and an encouragement to always just be yourselves. She is a perfect example of what a mom and woman should be. The love for her children was so strong and carried them through some very difficult times, always sacrificing for the better of her children. She is the best! Dianna is survived by her mother, Teresa Hill; three sisters, Vickie Waggoner, Debby Dernovish and Julie Rogers; three brothers, Rick Hill, Gary Hill and Andy Hill; two children, Terry Grant and Kimberly (Randolph) O'Barr; three grandchildren, Hunter Grant, Mylela Grant and Meredith O'Barr; and numerous extended family members and friends whose lives she has impacted dearly. She is now reunited with her father Don Hill and brother Ron Hill in heaven. Dianna is enjoying her eternal reward and is anxiously awaiting the great reunion when she will be with all her loved ones. Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, January 5th, 2013, at 11am at Church on the Move in their Oasis Room, 1003 North 129th East Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74116.
