Charles Cornelious Evans,

September 19, 1956 - March 6, 2012 Biography Charles Cornelious Evans, Jr. was born September 19, 1956 to Charles C. Evans Sr. and Nadine Wilson in Tulsa, OK. He attended Tulsa Public Schools and graduated in 1974 from Raymond S. McLain High School, upon graduation from high school, He attended Oklahoma State University. Charles accepted Christ, and was baptized at the age of 6 years old. He later met and married Jackie R. Howell and to this union, one child was born. Chadd C.L. Evans. Charles was employed with the Tulsa Housing Authority for many years and later worked in the construction industry. Charles was a great athlete where he excelled in football, basketball, tennis, baseball and billiards. Charles was a gifted handy man; there wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix. Charles “Cha Junior” or Uncle Chaas as it was often pronounced by his nieces was the ultimate storyteller. Sometimes, he would tell you the same story and each time it had a different ending, of course by the end of the story he was the only sane one! Yep, that was Charles…he just wanted to laugh and have fun and whatever it took; he was in! He was the family comedian and made everyone laugh. He loved to have fun and entertain. He always had a smile on his face and did all that he could to keep a smile on everyone else’s face. Charles had a huge heart and would give his last, even if it literally was his last. He had a real love for people especially for his family and close friends. Charles will forever be missed for his kind heart, loving personality and contagious smile and unforgettable laugh. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles C. Evans, Sr. and his Step-father, Leslie Byers. He leaves to mourn his mother, Nadine Byers; 3 sisters, Vanessa Evans Hawkins of OKC, Regina Matthews of Lawton and Tammy Evans of California; 2 brothers, LaVertis Wiggins of Wichita and Reginald Bryant of Lawton; 1 daughter, Kweisa S. Evans of Wichita; 2 sons, Chadd C.L.
