Angela Jane Jordan

Angela Jane Jordan, 57, was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Don and Karen Jordan, July 18, 1966 and is the youngest of three children. Angela, Ang, AJ, Aunt Angie, Sis, Sister, Sad Sack, Fish Face, Jordan... no matter what you called her, she touched the hearts of everyone with kindness, humor, wit, and unwavering love. Especially through a few chocolate pudding and baked potato fights... none of them she started... Angela was fearless. Big brother allowed her to drive his Chevelle at the age of 14. There they were, Angie behind the wheel at the intersection of 71st and Elm and who else would be at that intersection.. DAD. Angie just waved like it was normal and not a big deal... I think Dad thought otherwise. Dad grounded all three children once for 42 years unless someone admitted they broke the wheel barrel. The thing is, he meant it. Angie allowed the grounding for all to go on for a month before she admitted she had used it to climb into Rusty's bedroom window for fear of getting a spanking. Her climbing in and out of the window was a fun daredevil type of a habit that she and Rusty shared. Angie told some neighbor kids she could beat up her big sister and they told her to prove it. She hollered for Rhonda until Rhonda opened the front door, unaware that a fist to the left cheek was about to happen. Rhonda fell in the threshold and of course, the kids were in awe of her her ability to take down an older sibling. The kids followed her everywhere as if she were their leader. When Angela was two, she learned to write the number 2. She took a blue crayon and wrote the number 2 all over the back of our house. Our house was light green so everyone was able to see it! Angela had many accomplishments in her life, degrees, which she was proud of: Master of Science in Criminal/Justice from the University of Cincinnati Bachelor of Science in Criminal/Justice Corrections Associates of Science - Paralegal Cleat Certified Peace Officer Special Law Enforcement Commission - Bureau of Indian Affairs - USDOJ Angela Retired from DOC and worked as Liaison and Court Advocate for Women in Recovery at Family and Children's Services. Angela loved Kauai, Hawaii, the Garden Island. It's known for its vibrant and nourishing natural beauty. She can tell you that she saw the end of a rainbow.. Spoiler alert... there wasn't any gold at the end. The gold is the peace and tranquility of the land which is why she loved her Kayak family so much. With them, she learned to appreciate the beauty of her own homeland while making friends with awesome people who shared the same love of the land, water, and simply.. the Great Outdoors. Angela leaves behind her father; Don Jordan, Sister; Rhonda Staires, Brother; Rusty Thompson, Uncle; Rick Smith and Aunt Donnie, Brother in Law; Greg, Niece; Danielle (JJ) Baas, Nephew; Erik Thompson, and a long list of great nieces and nephews. Angela surrounded herself with positive and inspirational words, enjoying their beautiful meanings because words are important in thoughts and in speaking. "May Every Sunrise Bring You Hope.
